Long time never do this kind of doodling anymore.

Trying new method to paint too. I saw many people use this kind of shading often, so I start learning it today. Hope I can finish this tomorrow~ =D

The sketch was done last year. I was just too lazy to color it. Actually, I still am. I prefer sketching to coloring, and I'm trying to change this bad habit.

is because of many photos of korean boys I saw lately.

They love to pose in certain way to show off their nice body. LOL.

So I'm just somehow practicing to draw a beautiful boy that way. haha.

I know there are anatomy problem with the hands.

Btw, as usual, this's only doodle. I'm not planing to finish it. But if I do, I'll upload it for sure.

13. Watercolor

Took out my watercolor painting kits out of the box today. It has been more than a year since I touched them I guess.

Well, if you never heard of this, I'll tell you I rarely use watercolor to paint, so I'm not really good at it. I was experimenting on it this morning and here I have a retarded watercolor paint. lol. Should learn to use this traditional media more often~ Many great artists are good in watercolor, so I guess I should learn it also no matter what.

retarded, seriously. As usual, I still get the wrong direction of lighting D:

shadow in his face is totally wrong....

and the problem with watercolor painting is..., you can't undo or erase what you have painted ):

Original Idea from my art-club sensei from my senior high school.

I told him I was having an art-block for painting and he suggested me to "convert" one of his drawing to a painting.

I uploaded this image in DA with title : Alone

since my sensei's drawing is entitiled "Lonely Angel"

I don't wanna copy his title, so, yeah.. I use "Alone"

a slightly better version of this head exercise is used as my profile picture now.

few changes done... only change the level and add abit more shading on the right side, plus adding hair. Haven't put details on ears... hair's still roughly done... some shadow mistake on his forehead... but overall, this's the very first "ok" face I've ever painted so.... hehe ^^~

I'm still learning, so... ganbarimasu =D

Sketches and rough paint were done last January. Today I just edit it a bit before I upload it here.
Colors might be too dark,especially the grasses.
Grasses are painted using photoshop basic brush.

1 - the unexpected little girl

Painted last January before I edit a bit and upload it here on May 5th.
I remember I was learning to paint a little girl, supposedly around 5-6 years old which ended up a failure coz she appeared older than she should be. As always, I'm confused about the background and ended up adding that blue curtain. I'm not good yet at painting fabric so it doesn't really look like 'curtain', but well, I'm learning =3

I'm learning to paint lights. I know you will still confused where's the light source actually located (I'm confused myself anyway). Need help on this actually. If just I have someone to consult.
